I'm fundraising for kids like Olivianna
Olivianna was diagnosed with a brain tumor at just six months old. Now 5, Olivianna lives with epilepsy and visual impairment. She uses Starlight programs each month during hospital visits for infusions and MRI scans. Her mom says her hospital gown provided by Starlight makes her more comfortable since it's her favorite animal, a sloth. It helps put her at ease for the treatments she will go through.
Starlight Children's Foundation provides children with programs that provide a sense of normalcy and routine for children in hospitals. Studies show how programs like colorful and character-themed hospital gowns, game stations or virtual reality, can hep reduce anxiety, improve mood and provide a sense of control and empowerment.
